We never did rehome that cat
Jan. 31st, 2018 11:21 pmInstead, she's been staying in Eva's room. Mostly in Eva's room - she occasionally ventures out into the rest of the house.
But she doesn't want to be in the rest of the house, because there are other animals there, so she just prowls around in a twitchy mood, growling and hissing. It's... frustrating, and I'd've kicked her back out again (and put more effort into rehoming, that is, some effort at all) except the other animals are champs and don't even respond to her.
But Sweetheart! If she sees me outside, she's all charm! Hi, how are you, good to see you, I missed you, do you mind opening the door with your thumbs? The second she's in, what a change! Then I get the cold shoulder! It's all - do I even know you?
She is a very annoying cat. But Eva is happy to have a pet of her own, and boy, is this cat ever hers, so... yeah.
Also, you guys all need to check out
fridaypoll because it's more interesting with more than one person answering polls.
