Always a great way to start the morning. Especially when you are late for work.

Thanks. My friend [personal profile] anagramofbrat found the original graffiti, IIRC, and it was too perfect not to use.

Those are the best kind of days, because who doesn't want to wake up to the realization that their plans have been derailed by their own body?

Have you ever, like, tried it? Just curious. Asked by somebody who's body's monthly mutinies are the least of the derailments her body puts her through.

The sarcasm wasn't coming through clearly enough. Sorry.

I have had to see the effects and clean up after them, including the plan derailment parts, though, so I am probably as close to that as one can be without menstruation.

You know, I almost edited my comment to say something to that effect but was so tired I literally couldn't find simple little words like "unless that was sarcasm" to string together, but re-reading your comment like three more times it finally hit me, that might be just it.

Yeah. It requires a bit more tone than the text can convey easily.

Oh no, I think the men are definitely inconvenienced by their ladies' inconvenient plumbing, and would gladly thrash the damnfool that designed it, if only they could.

Ah... as to that issue, I don't see a practical way around it, because gravity. The amusement park has to be on the 'ground level' for accessibility.

Well, I suppose it doesn't have to be - we could have our reproductive organs in our chests, or exchange genetic material by some form of kissing or whatever - the fish and other sea-critters have certainly come up with some interesting ways of doing sex. Of course, living on land does cut out some options.

Leaving aside its unavoidable proximity to the waste-disposal system, the female reproductive plumbing is terrible design for a creature meant to walk upright, and having it 'open for business' all the time is terrible design for a peak predator: most only go into heat once a year.

I shall have a word with mammalian evolution on your behalf.

Yes please. We would like 100% conscious control of all our reproductive functions (without having to learn Martian) so we could turn them off when we're not intending to use them.

Regretfully, mammalian evolution simply suggested I engage in self-propagatory behavior, as it wasn't going to assist itself.
