There's a huge number of middle-class white people who firmly believe the reason they're not millionaires is affirmative action and "political correctness." And there's also a huge number who think "government is all fucked up and full of lying scumbags; let it all burn," and are entirely oblivious to what the government does when it's not getting media attention... like, fixing roads after disasters, and regulating air travel so planes don't smash into each other and fall on cities, and keeping our past nuclear mistakes wrapped in lead barrels.
