I mentioned the Leiby Kletzky case to somebody today, and decided to look it up to see how the perpetrator's trial had gone. (Life in prison. Not surprising, really.)

I remember that case because Leiby would be Ana's age, and also because there was a drowning at our local pool that same weekend. Bit memorable.

Apparently, just last week, his killer's brother was murdered. How awful for the family! And also for Leiby's family - this bit of news must have spread like wildfire in their community, brought everything up again in the most unhappy way. Not the way anybody wants to be reminded of their child.
