I was going to make Potato Pancakes for dinner tonight, with beets and with green beans on the side. But I had half a cauliflower, so I thought I'd make a little bit of soup to go with it.

Well, it made much more soup than I realized it'd make (and yes, it's yummy). I'll still make the beans and beets, but should I bother with the potato pancakes? It's not like I need them, but I wanted them!

[Poll #1560637]

Tomorrow is chickpeas, and okra, and carrots on the side (maaaaaybe on the carrots, I don't know). Friday is pasta with sausage, which I usually make Monday but didn't this week because I was too lazy and hot.

Aren't cauliflower and potatoes full of starch?

I didn't know cauliflower was. I was saying the potatoes (and flour? is there flour in potato pancakes?) would be that starch, and that's why she should make them.
