Poll time!
May. 5th, 2010 02:20 pmI was going to make Potato Pancakes for dinner tonight, with beets and with green beans on the side. But I had half a cauliflower, so I thought I'd make a little bit of soup to go with it.
Well, it made much more soup than I realized it'd make (and yes, it's yummy). I'll still make the beans and beets, but should I bother with the potato pancakes? It's not like I need them, but I wanted them!
[Poll #1560637]
Tomorrow is chickpeas, and okra, and carrots on the side (maaaaaybe on the carrots, I don't know). Friday is pasta with sausage, which I usually make Monday but didn't this week because I was too lazy and hot.

Date: 2010-05-05 06:36 pm (UTC)Still... can you wrap them up in plastic wrap or tinfoil and put them in the refrigerator? That usually works as well in a pinch.

Date: 2010-05-05 07:06 pm (UTC)Well, can you just go to the grocery store and buy a packet of cheapo plastic containers? Or if you've got a local Goodwill or St. Vincent de Paul store, you can probably find barely-used vintage Tupperware for less than the new throwaway stuff.

Date: 2010-05-05 10:04 pm (UTC)But still, there should be some way to store the leftovers, I know I've come up with some silly things when I realize all my storage containers are storing things in the freezer and fridge. Or you could always get some cheap containers from the store, or ziplock bags. :3
