Electors demand intelligence briefing before Electoral College vote

In light of all this, I'm upgrading my estimation of the odds here from a billion to one chance to merely a million to one chance of an electoral college revolt.

This entire election has been a lunatic farce from beginning to end. Anything could happen now, despite the brain-dead mantra from both sides "this will not change the election results".

I've been saying it won't for a while simply because I don't want to be too despondent when it doesn't - but hoo-boy, if any election ever breaks precedent, this is it.

Either enough defectors to flip the vote, or a whole lot of abstentions.
