No! NO NO NO NO NO!
Sep. 18th, 2014 12:00 pmNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Today was our *one day off* from appointments. No doctor, no dentist, no orthodontist or optometrist. Nothing!
Yesterday, Ana had a mild headache all day. Last night, she was itchy. This morning, she woke up with a sore throat. Headache + itchy + sore throat = strep test, and I have to go to the doctor. I was just freaking at the doctor!

Date: 2014-09-19 03:24 am (UTC)Which transit museum where you thinking? The main one, or the outpost they have at grand central, which isn't really a museum, per se, but which *is* conveniently located at grand central?

Date: 2014-09-19 03:59 am (UTC)It was the main Transit Museum we were thinking of. (We quite often go to transport museums - though funnily enough, I've never been to London's - partly because it's stupidly expensive.)
The other place we are considering visiting which I imagine would suit the girls is the Hall of Science.
(I really need to get to bed because I'm up in 5 hours. I think I'm reasonably confident of the election result - I hate going to bed not knowing what shape the country will be in when I wake up, and this time that would be quite a literal statement! But I will check for replies in the
latermorning.)Assuming we did meet, is there any British thing you've always wanted to try that I would legally/safely be able to bring in my luggage? (I don't have an enormous amount of time tomorrow, but I am going to lunch for a friend's birthday and need to quickly nip into town to buy a US-compatible phone, so I might be able to grab something if it's commonplace.)

Date: 2014-09-19 12:04 pm (UTC)I know you have lots of flavors of chips and chocolate we can't get here, but for the life of me I can't figure out which ones I'd want to try! (Or, rather, which ones I don't want to try. I'm sure you don't want your entire bag to be "snacks for Connie".)
So stop at the store if you want, and if you do, pick up something you love, and that way, if I don't like it, I can fob it right back on you. And I'll pass you some bialys, because you don't like eggplant and bialys are also delicious.
