Remember I posted that Amazon wishlist for Ana's school yesterday?

I went to get some of the cheaper items on the list, and for whatever reason the only shipping address shown is... mine. Which is doable, I guess but... is this intended behavior?

the_great_tumblr_purge is now open for business, as is rationalistdiaspora. Other places to make friends include addme and addme_fandom. There is also an ongoing friending meme here, and of course there's lots of activity in the recent News post! And lately a lot of new comms have popped up or suddenly realized they want more users, and they're all posting in dw_community_promo and, a few of them, on fandom_on_dw. There is also a new non-fandom friending meme here.

There is a list of many fannish DW comms here, although I cannot say how active they all currently are. questionoftheday, thefridayfive, drawesome, and picture_prompt_fun are active, and over at dailyprompt we do manage to get prompts up most days. You may also want to check out dreamwidthlayouts, fandomcalendar, fandom_icons, and style_system.

mific has a post about image posting options here, and niqaeli has a post about automatically crossposting from Instagram. kore has one here about filtering tags on your reading page if you have a paid account. artemis1000 has compiled their own list of links specifically about customization.

Edit: I've thought of something that I'm not sure anybody else has addressed. Even though this is Tumblr-gate, not everybody will decamp. And some people will want to read their friends' Tumblrs even if they're here. You can view public posts on Tumblr through the DW reading page as feeds.

First, go to the Tumblr in question. Look at the web address, and copy it. Then go here. Paste the address into the box labelled "Feed URL" and add /rss to the end. Click "add feed". At this point you'll have to name it. I suggest using the same name it already has. DW will add _feed to the end of this name. Once this is done you'll automatically be taken to the page where you can "subscribe" to this feed, and new entries will automatically appear on your reading page, so long as they're visible to the logged-out public. Note: There is a small glitch where clicking the subscribe button doesn't take. You can tell if it worked because the button will change color and switch to reading "unsubscribe". If it didn't work, click it again - it will work the second time.
