After we came home, I decided to run to CVS to pick up a prescription. I waited for the bus, and waited, and waited, and waited, getting wetter and wetter and wetter. Caught the bus, ran into the store - and the pharmacy was closed.

So I left the store and waited for the bus under the awning. And waited, and waited, and waited. Caught the bus, now it's really coming down, so I decided - clever! - I'd go down to the boat and transfer to another bus that drops me off closer to my house, rather than walking up from the park. I should've known better. That bus never comes. Guess what? I waited, and waited, and eventually gave up and took a cab. The driver made one drop-off, and by the time we arrived on my block, there's the bus turning the corner. Fucking a. Well, at least I didn't have to linger any longer in the rain.
