Them: We should do something this Easter!
Me: We could dye eggs.
Them: Okay!
Me: Of course, that's contingent on somebody eating the eggs. I don't like hardboiled eggs that much.
Them: We don't like them at all!
Me: And this is why we don't do much for Easter lately.
They've finally agreed to eat a few eggs, so tomorrow I'm going to confirm the final egg count. Fingers crossed that we don't end up tossing the lot in the compost. They never decompose properly.
