So, anyway, the Gardasil vaccine does not make girls more promiscuous. I've never been sure why "If we give kids the means to mitigate the risk of disease/pregnancy, they'll have more sex!!!" is presented like such a terrible thing (not that I particularly want teens to sex it up all day and night, but so long as they're being reasonably safe about it and getting enough sleep I really can't be bothered to care), but at any rate, that's not the case.
And what a non-surprise this is. If the risk of disease and pregnancy doesn't keep kids from having sex (because teens don't really think that much about the future anyway, not in our culture, I don't see why it would), how could a vaccine or condoms or education make them have MORE sex?
