Went to the library

Got books.
Will review some on amazon in a bit, and tape some up.
After that, we headed into Manhattan to go to one of Ana's preferred playgrounds. I've been trying to walk more instead of taking the bus, so we walked down to the library and boat (1.5 miles) and then up to the WFC (probably a mile). That second walk is like a playground itself, full of rocks to climb and bridges and lookout points and willows to hide under!
We had a fun time at the playground, it's so small that I could easily read a book to myself as they played, nobody was getting misplaced. They have an "artistic" sprinkler which is, really, a piece of crap, but the kids enjoy it, in all its badly-working glory.
Then we went to the bathroom, the one next to the Winter Garden.
The bathroom has four stalls. At first, all four were occupied - two by Ana and Evangeline, one by a little boy, one by I don't know who.
Then Ana left her stall to wash her hands, and the little boy's mother entered his stall to help him wipe or something, leaving me standing there in front of Evangeline's stall all alone, and somebody in the handicapped stall.
Enter an impatient woman.
She went to the only open stall (formerly Ana's), looked in, started to enter, and changed her mind. Why, I don't know - it was clean and had all its toilet paper - but she decided first to knock on the stall with the mom and boy.
Me: Somebody's in there.
Her: *pushes door*
Door: *doesn't open*
Me: It's busy.
Her: *walks to Evangeline's door*
Me: *right in front of the door* She's in there, it's busy.
Her: *opens door* OH! FINE!
Me: thinking: (Evangeline has no concept of privacy anyway, so I'm not upset.)
Her: *flounces back into the open stall*
Door-to-open-stall: *SLAM*
WTF? Seriously, wtf? I have no idea what possibly offended her so much.
We hurried on out of there. This woman didn't even wash her hands. Ew.
