Well, that was like an unpleasant surprise in the middle of the night

Here I am, bopping along, as they say, going here and there and everywhere, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I am implored to view a video (and spam all my friends with it) so that $.49 (not even a whole half-a-dollar, just so you know) can be donated to everybody's favorite autism organization that speaks for... uh... something.

Well, fuck that shit.

Which is basically what I said, but slightly nicer. Not much nicer - for unrelated reasons, I'm in a pretty sucky mood this week. (And I don't mean PMS, thanks.) (And if you're a member - don't run to comment, naturally.)

I can't even click the link to mock/cry over the video (at least, not without supporting them, and if I wanted to do that, I'd find a more useful way, thanks), but that's probably just as well. Judging from the comments, it makes ye olde autism = cancer comparison, so I doubt I'm missing much.

I have been following the case, though I have not been posting about it.

I cannot claim to be happy about this - I'd be happy if nobody had died at all - but I am satisfied.
