We seem to be having an "in" day.
Oct. 25th, 2007 08:32 amAngelique is coughing, and it's raining, so probably we won't go far today.
Evangeline is at that stage where she feels the need to narrate her life. "Connie, I jump!" "I kiss my doll!" "I fell down!" and, my personal favorite "Connie! My hair done! Ana has hair too!" (I think "hair" in that second sentence meant "braids", but I can't prove it.)
Of course, she can't just say it once, she has to say it three, five, ten times. This is a stage that's irritating enough with less verbal children, and given that she can use real sentences, round about the seventh repetition I start thinking she ought to have outgrown it by now. (Of course, she can't have outgrown it, she's just not old enough, but that's not the point.)
I'm still amazed by each utterance... but only the first and second times.
Must run. I get dinner today.
