Last night, I "babyslept" for Jenn.

I went in before they left, the baby had been crying a bit, and I found the light on, with Ana in the crib. Now, she was in there saying calming things to the baby, and she told me she just didn't want the baby to be scared of the dark... good intentions, really bad results, no?
So I eventually moved everybody to Jenn's bed. Baby climbed on me, lay down, started to fall asleep.
Unfortunately, everybody else was walking around outside, poking their head in, turning lights on, making sure we were okay, finding things, that sort of thing - so with all the movement and light, the baby eventually sat up, got a good look at my face, and started shaking her head. I could not convince her that I was the right adult for this job. But that's okay - she could just climb out of bed and find her mom herself!
(At this, I called 'dul in to put her back to sleep. Which... didn't work. She had to have some milk from her mom and some oragel before she'd fall asleep again, and even then, she wanted to be *right on top of me*)
Everybody eventually got settled down and asleep, I eventually did move the baby off of me so I could move around some, it was good.
Ana talks in her sleep, though. She mumbled, very clearly, "P is for tomato". Given that tomato is how she says potato, she wasn't really wrong. Maybe. I'd love to know what she was dreaming about, though!
