I've said it before, and I'll say it again.... If anybody has actually been harmed by vaccinations, then that's a bad thing. But I see about as much evidence for vaccinations causing autism as I see for... well, for creationism. Could be wrong, have hardly done any in-depth research on the subject.
Now I want to find that Rolling Stone article. Any links?

Jun. 20th, 2005 02:57 pmOne on Iraq. Operation Dagger, Operation Spear, who comes up with these names?
One on the absolutely implausible WMD claims.
One about Marines having to buy their own equipment.
One about lies from the government. I know people have short attention spans, but do they really think we'll believe they said we'd be in Iraq for years?
One on the illegality of British bombing raids.
One vaguely related to That Memo.
More on lies and Iraq.
And another one on The Infamous Memo.
And two from the NYTimes:
One on our descent into theocracy-ville.
And one on the fact that people don't want to fight in this war - and that the vast amount of parents who still support the war are against their children fighting. Frakkin' hypocrites.

Fortune cookies...
Jun. 20th, 2005 06:54 pmI got a fortune cookie today with three fortunes inside.
You will have a fine capacity for the enjoyment of life (in bed!).
You are an exciting and inspiring person (in bed!).
You are going to take a trip to the seaside (in... wait, what?).
That last one is an actual prediction? COOOOOOL.
Of course, it's a lousy one, rather like "you'll keep breathing for at least a little while". Sooner or later, just about everybody visits the beach, unless they're deliberately avoiding it in order to prove a fortune cookie wrong.

Jun. 20th, 2005 09:50 pmAbout a living wage. Isn't this why God invented unions? I thought all this was supposed to have been settled long ago, like it is in the rest of the civilized world.
