Lianne Mars isn't a "selfish evil bitch" and neither is Lilly Kane.

First off, evil is a word that really should be limited to the worst things people can do. If you can be evil for stealing and sleeping around, what word is left to describe genocide or torture?

Secondly, c'mon. The vast majority of characters in VM are fairly complex. It's good. If you can forgive Logan for being cruel prior to his mother's death, you can forgive the lesser crimes of being an alchoholic and being... well, a sixteen year old girl with some serious issues.

Not that this excuses either of them from their behaviour, no, but. Hey, here's an idea. Why don't you get yourself thrown in circumstances you can't control, whichever ones for you those are, oh, and let's drop a few years of maturity, wisdom, and sense off of you. Then you come back and tell me how perfect you were.
