Sooooo....

My mom is mad at Jenn, I don't know why. And I hate it. Every time she's mad at Jenn, she tries to rant about it to me. I used to end up sobbing when they fought because she'd try to drag me into it. I really don't want to hear about Jenn's crimes, Mommy, real or imagined. ( cut for the personal stuff )

*sighs*

This is NOT going to be a pleasant Christmas... and my hopes are rapidly fading for New Years as well.


In other news, when it comes to gifts, definitely doing Little Christmas, the lines at toys r us were horrific.

Okay, now, I didn't bother with spelling/grammatical errors. I just stuck to three really big ones:

1. Seventeen generations is bullshit. There is no way. That puts the lifespan of the earth at less than 500 years.

2. Humans did not evolve from monkeys. Evolutionary theory does not state that. What the fossil record shows, actually, is that all the primates evolved from a common ancestor. Also, if you're going to be perpetuating that old myth, please stop confusing apes and monkeys. Monkeys have tails. Apes do not.

3. Nobody says that we evolved from Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were already human. We descended from them. It's really not the same thing.


There's also 4. IF YOU ARE CROSSPOSTING, WARN US!

Yay! And now I can talk about my day yesterday.

Um.

I went to the toy store, got disenchanted with the lines. I may very well go to the one by the mall because I need work. Stay tuned.

I also fed the squirrels in the park! Somebody just gave me a bag of nuts for this purpose. The squirrels in Union Square are so cool, they're tame. They're tamer than some cats I've had (bluey, anyone?), and will take food right from your hand. *sits in awe*

And then I went to the bookstore and read a while before heading home.
