This is a little embarrassing to admit
Aug. 23rd, 2012 03:20 pmBut I keep a running tally. When I post somebody else's link, I give myself a point, and if one of my links gets posted by somebody I know, you guys get a point. And then I forget how many points I have, exactly, but I have a vague idea if I'm winning or losing.
Is that as strange as I think? Because I'm thinking it might be a little strange.
At any rate, elenbarathi has posted a set of links (in different entries this time) that I'm going to dutifully link to as well, because they're just that informative. Some of them you've all no doubt seen before, but they're still goodies.

.... I don't do the 'point' thing- don't like any kind of keep-score game (or any game at all, really, except chess) because winning or losing such games means nothing to me, but the forgetting-exactly-how-many-I-had part would bug me past all bearing: If I was going to keep a tally of anything, it would have to be an accurate tally, and that would quickly become too much llke work.. LOL, I'm a Recovering Compulsive Listmaker; I try not to to get sucked in to potential listmaking traps, else it could take me three days' listmaking to plan one day's activities. Perseveration is a super-power right enough, but it can be a hard one to control sometimes.
