85% of the US blames Obama personally for gas prices

That's 85% of the population that doesn't understand that while demand for oil continues to increase worldwide, supply won't do so for several million years, at which point I'm going to go out on a limb and say we'll probably all be dead.

But sure, the president can really affect the market that much.

We used to have this fantasy image of Dick Cheney going 'heh heh heh' and calling the oil companies to tell them to raise the prices.

Amusing though that is, I'm not sure the free market works that way.
