Which explains a lot, although it raises the uncomfortable question "What the hell, body?" I can't take PMS into account if I don't know there's any chance I'll be PMSing this week! (Last week. Whatever.)

Whatwasthatbook has updated again, and gone off moderated posting. (Yay!) Some people view that community as a chance to find books and help others find books. I view it as a bloodthirsty competition to BE FIRST.

The trick is that the same 20 or so books come up again and again. (And they're all YA and kidlit. If you happen to enjoy that sort of book, you really are golden.) So all you have to do is look up those most popular books and you can generally work them out even from the scarcest of clues. I really ought to write a list one of these days and post it up, just for something to do.

Yes, you ought. ("Yes, you do"? Everything sounds off.)
