your life is just events in between telling other people that Autism Speaks is evil? (EEEEEEEEVIL!)

On that note, I found a very nice article the other day about the family of an autistic boy who just won a case against the school district for denying their child services - and all of the dozen and a half comments were supportive of the family! One or two mentioned school districts wasting money... by not doing what they were supposed to in the first place and dragging out long court cases they knew they were going to lose!

I'm sorry I lost the link, but it was a very pleasant surprise. The comments were actually worth reading!

I do that, but it's hard because a) I am not on the spectrum and I don't actually have citations for most of what I say, which means people challenge me and I have to say, "Yes, but the people I know on the internet..." and b) I am trying not to be a gigantic know-it-all about everything in the world, and it's hard to know when starting a conflict with people I like is a good idea.

Stick to two things if you don't have citations, because they're impossible to refute:

1. The hateful language employed (by a mother, no less, in front of her own child!) in their first video, Autism Every Day.

2. The way they spend their money (poorly).

Then, if called on it, go to LMGTFY and google it for them.
