I feel a bit offended that it is assumed I do not recycle my toilet paper tubes. I either save them to donate them to the school/daycare for art when I have a box full, or I recycle them. I can't even remember the last time a tp tube actually made it into the trash... But yeah, tubeless would be good too. I get our toilet paper at costco and it bothers me that each roll is individually wrapped. Wastrels!

Absolutely. It's cardboard, so it's recycled as such. Besides, the bathroom bin is right next to the toilet so it wouldn't be much challenge to throw it in. Aside from the fact that it's, you know, a pedal bin ;0)

But I think there must be some magic at work here anyway - the last sheet always lifts cleanly off the roll...

The individually wrapped ones are wrapped in paper, though. If you buy four rolls at once or more they're wrapped up together in plastic.

No more toilet paper tubes? What is Shadowman supposed to play with when the toilet paper tubes are all gone?

Other than the ones we leave around as kitty toys, we've always recycled them.
