Well, that's sort of my point. When people neurotically cling to the belief that Those Are Not My Damn Interests, Those Are For Bad And Poor People, you can't get anywhere until you deal with that. Because so long as they are convinced that those aren't their interests, they have very strong emotional reasons to vote against them.
