If it's any consolation (then again, it may be terrifying to contemplate), these commercials are aimed at a general audience, which leads me to think that NTs have as much trouble as the rest of us!

Actually, you know what I did notice? I did notice the suit of armor rocking slightly back and forth right after it was put into place.

But I didn't see that the original object had been switched out!
