And a very, very, VERY random question: Why do pimples on or behind the ear hurt more than pimples anywhere else? What's up with that?

I'm the same way. "Chap stick" is generic to me, regardless of its proper use, and I'm somewhat more likely to say it. "Lip balm" is more correct, but I only occasionally say it. Like with the infamous "pop/soda/coke?" question, I tend to go for a more specific term, as in my Burt's Bees stick. :-)
