I've got a question.
Mar. 21st, 2004 03:21 amWhat's the point of LJ Drama? I know, they report on and create drama, adding snide criticisms of the attitudes of the people rather than just the drama going on. Got it.
But why do we care? I mean, people react like "OMG!!!! WE'RE GOING TO END UP ON LJ DRAMA!!! STOP FIGHTING!!!!" sometimes. Now, if you don't want to end up there, that's perfectly reasonable, but why don't you want to end up there? Just because you care what people think of you? I can understand you don't want the comment emails, but you can disable that for individual posts. And in a way, ending up on LJ Drama can be seen as a perverted rite of passage, can't it? And once you do, you can pretend that the offending post doesn't exist, and never read the comments.
