The case of another autistic starved to death by her sister.

The conviction was for manslaughter. We'll see what sort of sentence this gets in a few months - my guess is that it nowhere approaches the severity of the crime.

These articles are so horrid I feel dizzy just thinking about them. I don't see how anyone could do things like that to another person.

She'll get off for time served, if that. Because we all know she's suffered enough, because the agony and devastation involved in caring for an autistic far outweigh anything Tiffany may have endured and we don't of course know that Tiffany was in any pain or discomfort because autistics aren't aware of what's going on [/sarcasm] and I have to go throw up now.

I don't know. I was stunned that Karen McCarron got convicted. Of course, I was also stunned that the DeGroots didn't.
