My free Lunapad came!

And the free GladRag pad, but that was ages ago.

It's nice and soft, and pink, and a good little pantiliner. And I got what I can only imagine was intended as a cloth toilet wipe with it, but I think I'll use it as a handkerchief, because at the moment, snot in my wash disturbs me less than fecal matter. Elise was disturbed, but it's not like it's a *used* cloth.

I got a promo code, $5 on my next $25 order. Thing is, I don't think I'll use it. I like the pantiliner they sent me, but I have some serious doubts about the style of their regular pads with the elastic to hold the liners in. That'll be great for some people, but I worry I'll feel it too much, and I don't want to spend the money to find out.

The code expires on the 31st. I'm posting this entry here, and crossposting to cloth_pads and whoever posts first, I'll send it to. If whoever-it-is changes their mind, I just want them to pass the code to somebody else, because it's only good a month.

I meant to do the links to get the free pads like you did. Where on the sites did you find the information about that? I looked around both and couldn't find it, but I don't know where I'm supposed to be looking!

I don't think they advertise it on their sites. I found out about it via clothpads.org, which is currently defunct.

Really, all you do is post about GladRags and about Lunapads in your journal, then send a link to the entry via email (which is on their websites) to the respective companies. Lunapads took forever to get in touch with me, mch less send it, but Gladrags was next day.

I feel kinda weird emailing GladRags with a link to my journal since they don't advertise it. Did you just send a link, or did you also explain what you'd heard?

Well, there's a cloth diapering comm that's wank free. Hence the alternate comm. Perhaps there's an alternate comm for the cloth pads? People have to amuse themselves somehow, I suppose.
