Summer. I was walking with Jenn down the street, and the sun was in my eyes. We were eating Italian ices, mine was Lemon (with real lemon chunks) and hers was probably strawberry. I looked up, and I could just see my dad walking quickly ahead of us. The sun was glittering off the pavement. Why I remember this, I don't know, but.

I remember running around in my grandparents' backyard with my cousin Maggie. We were about six and five, running through the lawn sprinkler in our clothes.
