1. Sappy ending. Really. But I liked it :)

2. Fascinating developments with OWI. I wish we'd seen more of that sooner. Now, will it cease to exist? Will its competing factions fully divide? Have they, in fact, done so already?

3. Is Hiro Kensei, or does he merely teach/learn from the man?

4. On Hiro, they just about said that he and Ando are TOTALLY IN LOVE! But Zach's not supposed to be gay anymore. Boo.

5. With that said, Molly/Micah. Their like is so cuuuuuute!

6. Nikki makes a good point. Why didn't D.L. just phase the two of them so the bullet wouldn't hurt anybody? Stupid.

7. So many changes from what the previous timelines must've been! But how were they all set running? I'm a bit confused by the mechanism of that.

3. I think the second man in Japan, the one with the banner that had The Symbol on it, is Kensei. He looked just like the picture in the museum.

5. They could just be friends. Sheesh.

6. I don't thinking of any sort is necessarily DL's strong point, and it's not like he had long to ponder.

7. I assume in the previous timeline, Hiro showed up and stabbed Sylar and then teleported away, not knowing that Peter was the bomb. In fact, I don't think it's necessary for anything to have changed except for Peter not calling out to Hiro—which he wouldn't have done, because in the other timeline, he didn't know Hiro yet—and Nathan not showing up. Although that brings up an interesting point—how did Peter survive?—although I guess Ted always survived all his explosions, so not so surprising after all.

What I want to know is, why didn't Peter teleport himself to the middle of the Nevada desert? He's already shown he knows how to use Hiro's powers. And, y'know, while it's nice of Nathan to have died heroically, it seems so pointless

yeah! or he could have even just flown by himself, without nathan's help. i was a bit disappointed in that. what, he can't use 2 powers at the same time?

Maybe not. Although Sylar can (loved the whole combining-the-painting-the-future-with-telekinesis-to-make-the-painting-paint-itself thing).

Super strength includes her immune system? She didn't go after DL so he and Micah both died while she stayed in Las Vegas? She took the money [from Linderman] and ran?

What made it change from the First Timeline to the Second Timeline was Hiro's having gone back in time. That was the only change--and the only reflection of it was that Claire was still alive. IOW the same things happened as far as Niki/DL/Micah in both the 1st and 2nd timelines?

Possibly the change from 2nd to 3rd was Hiro's having gone to the future, come back, and called Nathan a birran? Maybe that third voice (instead of just Peter's and Claire's) was what tipped the scales to make Nathan stop Peter.

BTW I am so disappointed that Candice turned out to really look like Missy Peregrym. Really, really disappointed.

In theory, in the future, that future was existing BECAUSE Hiro went to the future. So I was skeptical that they had changed the past at all, in fact, i think it would've made a kickass season finale if the bomb DID explode and kill a ton of people.

unless they flew into outerspace (can nathan fly that high?), the nuclear fall out will surely kill some people. :P

But they had changed the future: In timeline #1 (the one Future!Hiro left), Claire had died and Sylar had regenerated. In timeline #2, she was alive and hiding in Midland and it wasn't explained how Sylar escaped—maybe the same way he did in the third timeline (the one after Present!Hiro went to the future and came back) that we saw last night.

Why must any difference between two given timelines be the direct result of a single event?

... You realize this is a television show? And that's it's sci-fi, at that? ;-)

In any case, there could easily be an intermediate timeline we haven't seen.

Right. They out-and-out admitted in an interview that it was an error back in the early part of the season when they said Mohinder was 2 when Shanti died, and that viewers should accept the died-before-he-was-born thing from "Landslide" as truth.

BTW: When Peter had his dream trip thing, a little thing flashed up saying "To see all of Peter's journey, log onto heroes.nbc.com." Do they mean his journey throughout the show (and therefore the "character profile" pieced together on the website frmo all the episodes) or is there somethign about the dream trip that's hiding on the website and I can't find it?

Looking forward to this summer's comics, they're introducing a character who's from out here ...

#3: According to my husband, Kensei (the guy with the banner at the end) was played by George Takei.

Popping in from elsewhere...

Lends credence to one theory that Hiro's father is Kensei:

- All the stories Mr. Nakamura told Hiro about Kensei.
- Mr. Nakamura's proficiency with a sword.
- The part where Kensei is played by Takei.
- "I have waited a long time for a Nakamura to ascend" can be a bit ambiguous - why not "one of you", referring to Hiro/Kimiko?
