6. I don't thinking of any sort is necessarily DL's strong point, and it's not like he had long to ponder.
7. I assume in the previous timeline, Hiro showed up and stabbed Sylar and then teleported away, not knowing that Peter was the bomb. In fact, I don't think it's necessary for anything to have changed except for Peter not calling out to Hiro—which he wouldn't have done, because in the other timeline, he didn't know Hiro yet—and Nathan not showing up. Although that brings up an interesting point—how did Peter survive?—although I guess Ted always survived all his explosions, so not so surprising after all.
