An unfilmed, unaired Firefly script? Shiny!

I want an icon from the following quote, by the way:

We're fighting the just cause. Independent thought, independent dreams, independent lives. It's a thing worth dying for.

Can do with or without the first sentence. Will love you forever. It'd be a nice birthday present?

It's good, though if it's not text-only, I think I'd prefer a Firefly-specific image. Lemme see if I can dig one up....

I think... I think, perversely, it'd have to be a picture of Young River (this is the one I found, though it's not best), because in the movie, she comments as a child (or maybe as an adult thinking of being a child) on how the Alliance is telling people "what to think" (and gets told that they're not doing that, they're just teaching them how), and... she lost the most, I think, by the Alliance.

Not a very easy pic to put a wordy quote on, or to animate. I'm still not convinced it's ok.

I did the non-Firefly one due to a) knowing next to nothing about the show (making finding a pic hard) and b) I thought you actually *wanted* the quote out of context.

Trust me, this *is* out of context. It's just *less* out of context. Thankies, I love it... though I think I might like it better (impossible?) without the first sentence after all, if that's not too much to do.

Heh, I meant out of a Firefly context, so you could use it for political stuff.

And I can nix the first sentence, but not right now. I'll try and remember to do it next time I've got my computer set up for animation shop.

A little un-refined and in need of script-doctoring in a few places, but It was good and kept well to the spirit of the show. It's a shame that it was never filmed. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
