Got a copy for Ana, she seems to be enjoying it. I'm turning her into a real Sendak fan!
My next favorite book ever was Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
There's reviews on Amazon.com by people who self-righteously claim that they don't read it to their kids because their kids wouldn't understand it, since their kids never act like that.
I don't believe that, and today completely and totally sucked, starting with my lack of sleep and unfortunately, not ending with Ana's 45 minutes worth of "I WANT MY MOMMY!" this morning.
I felt for her, I really did, but...
I completely relate to poor Alexander.
