So, I spent much of yesterday and today making cookies.

Which is why I just got home a little while ago, and haven't read anybody's posts in the last two days. Sorry. Hope it wasn't anything important.

The transit strike hasn't struck yet, here's hoping it doesn't.

My day has been tremendously boring. This is just an update so you all know I'm alive, or at least doing a good job of pretending.

Mmmm, cookies!

I hope the strike doesn't happen either - there was a transit strike here last winter. It was terrible, but most people were able to carpool and such. I can't imagine the state of NYC without public transit.

Though, I'm sure it'd be resolved a lot sooner than ours was. (It was a good 2-3 months, if I'm not mistaken...)

what are you going to do if there is a strike? I haven't thought about it yet, because it'd be just unbearable. I don't have a car! I can't take a cab to the airport...they're just going to have to resolve that. quickly!

1. Walk to and from my sister's, unless the weather is/will be unbearable, in which case I'll sleep over.
2. Take Ana no further than the local playground, unless
3. Her friends are willing to come over. Hell, her friends have cars, they can take us to the museum occasionally, it's not like they're not going there anyway!
