A sweater and a pair of corduroys, very warm and cuddly looking. Especially the sweater. I remember I originally thought it looked like some light sort of cotton yarn, but I was wrong, it's this heavier chenille (caterpiller!) wool. Nifty.

*hugs all*

My mother's kinda upset. "But this is *new* stuff!". *deep sigh* I told her I'd asked for used, but... *shrugs* "But what do we owe them now?"

I'm thinking that if I get off my ass, I may send cookies to everyone. The link to the post where you can give me you address is in the bottom of my user info (or you can send me an email, conuly AT livejournal). If you have any (simple!) cookie preferences, or any allergies, you should tell me. I may not actually do this, I'm horrible at sending stuff out, so don't get your hopes up too much.

I actually managed to snag something off of freecycle (amazing, ain't it?), so I'm going to be gone in the middle of the day finding this person's house.

Hmm. I am sorry your mother's upset, I know where she's coming from. From my perspective: I'm in grad school and there are very few kids around and even fewer that I actually get to interact with at all. All my cousins are grown up, the youngest is ten and the rest are teenagers or my own age. I love kids but don't want any of my own and my sister, future provider of nieces and nephews, is younger and probably a good ten years away from having kids herself. So, I take an 'it takes a village' attitude. I love reading Anna stories and I think it's awesome that you spend so much time with her. You made a reasonable request and, since I could help and wanted to I did. But I do feel bad that your mom feels bad. Assure her that it was just because I don't have any source of used kidlet clothes.
