The Graphic Work of M. C. Escher? Methinks the gentle folk of Tuscon, Arizona were perhaps, ah, "not thinking clearly" when they came up with that one. Nothing I've seen from Escher would deserve such condemnation.
Problems with content is not a reason to ban a book, but I can sort of see where that comes from. But banning Anne Frank because it's depressing? That's just moronic.
