Odd question...
Dec. 22nd, 2003 02:26 amIf it's the Enterprise, the Defiant, shouldn't it be the Voyager? But it's not. Very very very annoying. And yet. On Voyager. They name their oh-so-l33t shuttle... the Delta Flyer.
Side note... what flying? It's more like propelling through space. For flying, you need air. Oh well, that at least makes sense of a sort.
Side note two... I need some star trek icons. Hold on while I find them.

Date: 2003-12-22 12:09 am (UTC)Enterprise: Main commuter, but the frame done cracked in half. Oh well.
Voyager: For looooong trips. Light and fast.
Galileo: Folding bike. Used mostly for short trips and when secure parking is an issue.
Horizon: Cargo bike. For when a 3000 cu. in. messenger bag just ain't enough...
And sorry for spoiling the rant... But I have had the same thought about the Voyager issue, since it's *quite* rare that someone use the article when referring to the Voyager, whereas the norm with the other ships, as you said, is the other way around. :)
