Woman: -feel better about my body than I have in years! In just six weeks using this plan, I went from a size 10 to a size 4!

It was a real ad, not a joke.

God, just shoot me now.

I think I'm a size 10. I don't think it's possible for me to get smaller... that's based on my hip size. My hip bones jut out already, there's no particular fat over them. If I wanted to be a smaller size, I'd have to cut bone off.

12s and 14s don't seem to be that common anymore. I tend to think of this as "meat on the bones", not "fat".

Most people I see are either much larger, or much smaller.

I have no idea what size I am (in context with that article), becuase I'm pretty sure juniors sizes are different than adult sizes.

Dropping all those sizes sounds drastically unhealthy. Either you'd need a liposuction to do that, or you'd need to take some kind of heart-attack-inducing drug. And I bet a lot of people would find it physically impossible to go down to a size 4... it's one of the "tiny skinny chick" sizes. Yet another sign we live in a fat-phobic culture. *sigh*

I don't like my body at the size it's at -- it's clumsier, tires out faster, overheats more easily, etc. I'm not physically comfortable unless I'm a size 6, which is just about where I belong. :-p

conuly, i am going to warn you now because you are my lj friend and i respect you. if you have seen it already, disregard this warning, but if not. i HIGHLY suggest that until saturday you remove ALL of the harry potter communities from your friends list or friends filter them at once. some of my "compatriots" in the lj-trolling fields have gotten their hands on several pages of pivotal plot details for the books and are planning on blitzing the communities with the pictures tonight and tomorrow.

i want to warn you so that your book experience is not ruined like mine was, lol. some of them have already been spammed. it is a pagescan and not photoshopped, its the real deal and it gives away ALOT! so i beg of you to do this so your stuff isnt ruined.

i don't know these people enough to dissuade them from doing it, i just read their lj's from time to time.
