I love Bester. Not in any platonic way, ew, but... I just have a thing for disturbingly creepy people, and Bester is one of them. I thought he had me at his pinata line, but, no, I just realized that I *always* rewind his scenes to watch them again.

I did very much the same thing with Morden. What makes some people disturbingly creepy? I mean, is it just the way they act? They looked disturbingly creepy, both of them, even before they started ostensibly acting... maybe it's how they look? How sad that would be, to go through life looking disturbingly creepy. Ah well.

If I pull up some of my favorite Babylon 5 quotes (so far), will somebody volunteer to make me an icon? And will somebody else volunteer me some sites with quotes, or (better yet), transcripts?

Well, Walter Koenig wasn't creepy in Star Trek. I think it's his manner--and that is part of acting. A really good actor is acting from the moment he steps onto the stage, even before you think it's possible.

But I have to agree with you on Bester. I heart him!! :-D

Of course, if I ever actually *met* a person like Bester, I'd shoot him in the head. And then stake him in the heart. And then burn him. And then scatter the ashes. And then run like hell away from that accursed place, because man is he creepy.
