This is how the BBC reports the issue.
And this is the MSNBC version.

The only thing keeping me from running across the water into Merry Olde England is the thought that MSNBC isn't the American equivilant of the BBC anyway.

I still want out of this country, out of this world, out of the whole goddamn solar system.

Heh.

I've had thoughts of going to Canada, but you know... it won't stop the insanity in America, and unfortunately, it won't matter where in the world anyone goes, because as long as America (collective) and it's Govo are laboring under the mass delusion that they are the Grand High Pooh Bah of world politics (Team America: World Police, indeed!), then their influence will still be felt everywhere.

What's the point of having a UN if you're going to do your own thing anyway?

/unrelated rant

On a sort of related note (American vs. UK journalism on a topic, with a side order of someone possibly thinking "conspiracy!" a la Wag the Dog (questioning the timing of the coming forward of Deep Throat), please to be seeing this post/thread (http://www.livejournal.com/users/beldurin/36723.html).

"People are starving!" "Crisis!" These are things that shouldn't be buried in the last paragraph of an article. Sigh.

(btw, when my ship comes back to this little mudball, I'll let you know and swing by & get you on my way out...)

Does the UAS have *anything* that can be considered the equivalent to the BBC?

When SOUTH Korea is sending emergency aid to North Korea and the rest of the world isn't, something is wrong.
