Date: 2003-12-19 12:18 pm (UTC)Duck, duck, goose is a little kid game. Everyone sits in a circle except for one kid, who goes around the circle tapping everyone on the head in turn. As s/he taps you on the head, s/he says "duck". This goes on until the kid says "goose" instead. Then the goosed person races the tapper around the circle. Whoever gets back to the empty spot first gets to stay there, and the person who doesn't has to go around the circle.
Some people play a version where there's a "cookie jar" or a "mush pot" in the middle of the circle.
