Oooh. The promo for next week's VM is up.
Apr. 29th, 2005 04:35 amI'm not recapping it here. Just go watch. It's all melodramatic and angsty, but that's as it should be.
Edit: Okay, few things to get out of the way. First of all Bearded!Duncan actually looks vaguelly attractive. I'm surprised.
Second, quite a few people are going on and on about how Logan could never abuse Lilly or Veronica because, after all, he was abused, and look how he flipped out when he heard about Tina's boyfriend. To these people, I have a few things to say.
1. Abusers often (though not always) grow up to be abusers. It is hard work to break this cycle, even when you want to.
2. There is more than one type of abuse. So maybe Logan would never hit his girlfriend. That doesn't mean he couldn't still abuse her. In fact, check out the list of emotional abuse. Destroying property? Constant harassment? Excessive possessiveness?
Seriously, I like Logan as a character. I think that it would be realistically possible for him to... well, to grow up, for lack of a better term. I also think it's realistically possible for him to be or become abusive. That's the way the character is written. So he's mad that somebody beat up Trina. Yay. His solution is to go find that guy and beat him up? Planned violence. Great. Wonderful.
