If you want to talk to me about something regarding my livejournal, comment IN MY LIVEJOURNAL. I will NOT discuss my posts outside of LJ. Not only do I not see the point, but that seems likely to stifle discussion... nobody else can reply to your comments if I'm the only one to see them. Also, when I'm talking to somebody in real life, I like to talk about things I haven't already talked to death. Funny thing, that. I really don't like always talking about me, and I certainly don't want my real life conversations with friends to be dominated by flippant comments in my livejournal!
Exceptions to this rule:
1. Very old comments... that is, not within the past 50 I have made.
2. Very personal statements... if something I've said prompts you to discuss your sex life, go ahead and email me.
3. I'm the one who brings it up OR it has to do with something between the two of us.
I most emphatically will NOT reply to comments along the lines of "what did so-and-so mean when he said this in your journal?" Ever. If you want to know what somebody means, ask them, not me.
