okay... I'm guessing (and am probably wrong) that the trick is to mount a camera on a tripod, take a high quality digital photograph, add a laptop to the area where the picture was taken, take another high quality digital photograph. Detirmine the area that the screen takes up in the second photograph, crop everything that isn't part of this area from the first photograph, make it your desktop background on the laptop, take a thrid photograph (with the camera still in the same place on the same tripod) and show it off to everyone.

What's everyone else think?
