Why *is* shiny a good thing? Why not matte?
And why do people have "plot bunnies"? Why not plot armadillos?
And why on earth do people squee? Why not... something else?

Because shiny is pretty and eyecatching and distracting and oooohhhh....

"Squee" is pure onomatopoeia.

I don't know about the bunnies. *hides from the bunnies*

Because the bunnies multiply at an alarming rate.

She's adorable. I wuv her. *pets*

I like Vamp!Willow only as an alternate version of Geek!Willow. She's less interesting opposite LesbianWicca!Willow.

[I don't know, I think it's to be sarcastic about the emphasis, like adding an OMG at the beginning]

I like LesbianWicca!Willow, but only when she's played against Tara, who I didn't like at first but who has grown on me a lot.

Do you dislike all of Wicca!Willow, or just late Willow? In series 4 and some of 5, she was a cute amalgam of Geek and Wicca, and to be honest, if she'd stayed just geek, we might have got annoyed with her after a while.

Apparently the "!" thing has something to do with programming language...

the X!(character) format came from waaaaay back when people used some old program to RP. There was to room for 'Character, who is x' or something else like that, so they used x!Character to show what that person was acting like like when they posed.

*nods* I remember reading it somewhere a long time ago.

One of my fanfic-writing friends has joked that her plot bunnies are of the Monty Python sort, with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Also because plotbunnies often tend to be fanfiction plotbunnies, and fanfiction often tends to revolve around sex, and bunnysex is gross. They don't know front from rear and not male from female, they'll just hump anything.

I don't know how well this works in English, but it's a roar in Icelandic: Kanínur gefa hugtakinu að vera tekinn í nefið nýja merkingu (Rabbits give the term to be snuffed/taken up the nose a whole differnt meaning) Að vera tekinn í nefið usually means to be totally beaten at something.

"It's a yoyo, you modo."

"It does two amazing things. One, you have the shiny thing at the top, and the string at the bottom, Two - and this is the clever part - you can have the string at the top, and the shiny thing down here where the string used to be!"

"You have no idea what it does, do you?"

"Sure I do! You put the shiny thing at the top and you go: 'Whaah! The string's moving! Somebody stop that string!"

...I don't get out much. Sorry.
