Why *is* shiny a good thing? Why not matte? And why do people have "plot bunnies"? Why not plot armadillos? And why on earth do people squee? Why not... something else?
Vamp!Willow is a (distant!) second best to Geek!Willow (and what on earth is with exclamation points instead of hyphens?). Then we've got Evil!Willow, Human!Anya, Demon!Anya, Everybody Else, and FINALLY Wicca!Willow.
Do you dislike all of Wicca!Willow, or just late Willow? In series 4 and some of 5, she was a cute amalgam of Geek and Wicca, and to be honest, if she'd stayed just geek, we might have got annoyed with her after a while.
In this situation, it just links two things together.
Ex.
I have tiny!Love, meaning, I have an obsession with tiny replicas of real things. (Tiny card decks, tiny coins, tiny erasers shaped like tiny food.) This is tiny!Love.
Saying geek!Willow means, this is the version of Willow which acts like a geek. Wicca!Willow is, therefore, the version of Willow who is obsessed with or practices Wicca.
Or, confused!Conuly means simply, you (Conuly) are confused about something.
I really haven't a clue why not use hyphens. I know that I've been using the ! format for so long that to use hyphens would feel awkward and be confusing. I'm sure there are people who DO use hyphens, but I think more people use !.
Unless you were referring to the end of my sentence, in which case what you said makes perfect sense, and CRAP, I really need to go eat something. Aaack....
Though I think that SillyexclamationpointMuffin is the *perfect* name for a cat. Or, since I don't have a cat, you. I'll beg somebody to make you an icon and everything. You can change your name, it'll pay for your kid's tuition somewhere!
the X!(character) format came from waaaaay back when people used some old program to RP. There was to room for 'Character, who is x' or something else like that, so they used x!Character to show what that person was acting like like when they posed.
*nods* I remember reading it somewhere a long time ago.

The end of that sentence looks funny.
