Date: 2005-03-24 08:23 pm (UTC)It has all the perks and convenience of IE with none of the evil hassle.
I know most people swear by Firefox, but I stand by my choice.

Date: 2005-03-24 08:28 pm (UTC)Tried Opera, but I think it will be for testing codes only.
Of course, my favorite feature of Firefox is my ColorZilla eyedropper thing. It means I can grab the hexidecimal color code for any part of anything on the web. So awesome! It is very useful for solving internal debate over whether this color is different than that color, or for finding the perfect match when coding a webpage around and image.
Didnt you have a Firefox eating IE icon? Or know where I can find it to steal it? I meant to when I last saw it, but forgot...

My dad, who is always on the up-and-up on new technology, convinced me to use it about two years ago. He's since moved on to Firefox, but I can't let it go.
Oh, and it's got all the other things other people mentioned, too. Maybe I'm just resistent to change in my old age.

I just want to give Firefox a chance, just like I gave Avant one.

Date: 2005-03-24 08:39 pm (UTC)I think what threw me off was that you had to get a special plug-in in order to have tabs. That might've changed, because it's been a while since I tried it. But if Firefox wouldn't give me what Avant gives me without any extra work, I didn't think it was worth my time. :P
