Date: 2005-02-16 06:36 pm (UTC)Maybe the good movies are getting less hype now or something. "If you build it, they will come" type mentality. I mean, we're three months away from the final Star Wars, and I've heard basically nothing about it in the media.

And I will join the scores of people who can't believe you don't know about this *nods*
*Waits impatiently for amazon.com trailer to load*
Hmm, interesting interpretation of the Zaphod head/arm problem. I'll rfeserve full judgement until I see it properly. Martin Freeman sounds a bit odd, but I suppose that's him doing that acting thing ;0) (I wish it had been made whilst Hugh Laurie was lined up to play Arthur.) Ford sounds American, which is just wrong. Still, looks like fun.

Date: 2005-02-16 07:12 pm (UTC)I can't recall. Whatever movies we took the kids to over the Christmas break, I am sure.
I can understand having missed it if one hadn't been to a movie lately, as I have not seen any TV advertising for it... but plenty of in-theatre trailers!
I hope it got the treatment it deserved. I am so looking forward to it. :-)

Date: 2005-02-17 06:40 pm (UTC)Martin Freeman is exactly how I imagine Arthur Dent to look. Some of the acting is a bit iffy in the the trailer but should be worth a look anyway. Great book.
